System Maker: Hamworthy MOSS Inert Gas (IG) System
For more than two decades, this vessel faced a persistent challenge with low cargo unloading performance. The capacity was stuck at roughly 50%, leading to repeated operational delays and complaints.
While many skilled technicians and service providers had attended the vessel over the years to resolve the issue, the system's full potential remained locked. The complexity of the integration made the root cause incredibly difficult to pinpoint.
Through a detailed system analysis and deep troubleshooting by our main founder, Ko Soe Wynn, the missing link was finally identified. It was discovered that the system was fundamentally designed to support 100% capacity, but was held back by a combination of outdated software configurations and specific hardware issues.
Within only 12 hours, Orbit Marine Engineering Pte Ltd successfully:
The vessel is now operating at its true design capacity—achieving approximately 10,000 m³/hour.
The customer was extremely satisfied to finally see the performance they had been waiting over 20 years for. This success highlights what true troubleshooting means: it's not just about replacing parts, but having the deep technical insight to unlock a system's full potential.
Respect to our founder, Ko Soe Wynn, for solving a technical mystery that had remained unresolved for decades.
We are proud to support the operations of established marine engineering firms, ship managers, and equipment OEMs.
